GDN aims to empower undergraduates and graduates with job search, career management & entrepreneurial skills thereby reducing significantly the present colossal waste of youthful human resources and promoting the quality and global competitiveness of the Nigerian graduate specifically and the Nigerian workforce generally.

Graduate Development Initiative (A Non-Profit and National Transformation Initiative of AGDC National Career Centre) is conceived with a determined desire and focus to change the perceived and actual value of the Nigerian graduate and increase immeasurably their present contribution to National growth.

GDN will be fully given to empowering the minds and hands of the Nigerian youth, which represents about 60% of the population.  This group includes undergraduates, unemployed and employed fresh graduates, young working class and young business owners.

GDN will integrate graduates into the Nigerian work-force through placements, training and development, advisory services, entrepreneurship, career counselling, community development, and advocacy and lobbying.

GDN will carry out a complete reorientation of the minds of the above categories in addition to improving the quality they bring to the global workplace, their standard of living and contribution to national income.  GDI will focus on building 21st century intrapreneurs and entrepreneurs towards national growth..

By the year 2018, Graduate Development Network will have solved considerably the national employability problem of Nigerian graduates and will hence, focus on small business development and promoting Nigerian graduates' global competitiveness and relevance.

The Nigerian economy will undoubtedly benefit immensely from this initiative as it is a huge step towards achieving the Vision 2020 initiative of our esteemed nation, which is unattainable without a globally relevant human capital.
