Mrs. Funmi Adeyemi is an Assistant General Manager with Skye Bank Plc. She is a 1989 graduate of history from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She also has an MBA in Marketing from the University of Lagos.  She started her banking career with Guaranty Trust Bank where she worked in Relationship management, Customer Service and Operations. She went on to work in United Bank for Africa as a District sales manager responsible for overseeing retail/ personal banking in six branches. From there, she went on to set up the consumer banking group of Bond Bank Ltd, which later merged with other banks to form Skye Bank. She has attended several courses locally and internationally to include, The High Performance Leadership course in IMD, Lausanne Switzerland.
Funmi is very passionate about improving the decay in the educational system in Nigeria, especially because she went through the same system in its glory days at the Queens College Yaba, Lagos and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
Funmi is married to Yinka and they are blessed with children.
